May 13, 2010 - Barbican Center - London, Logan Hall - A celebration in honor of Robert de Warren an his vast contribution to the presrvation of Iranian Mystic, Ethnic and Courtly dances.

July 2010 -  JOSE MANUEL CARRENO INTERNATIONAL SUMMER INTENSIVE - Mr. Carreno joins Robert de Warren in this special initiative. From July 5, 2010,  this prestigious intensive course offers a unique curriculum:

1 - CLASSICAL BALLET for advanced and pre-frofessional dancers

A four or six week intensive with : classical ballet, male spciality, pointe, pas de deux and repertoire plus a once only  " Audition Preparation course"

2 - BALLET INTERMEDIATE summer course.

For gifted children and young adults. Learn from the best international faculty.

3 -  INTERNATIONAL CHARACTER AND ETHNIC DANCE with special attention to Persian mystic, courtly and tribal dance.

IRAN-DAS INC. A charity created to preserve ancient Iranian dance traditions, offers a parallell course for dancers or teachers interested in this quite original subject.  Robert de Warren spent 11 years in Iran under the late Shah, and founded the Iran National Folklore Society.

Character Dances from the Classical Repertoire - a detailed study of the barre and center practice enabling dancers to know: Mazurka, Czardas, Polacca, Neopolitan, Russian and more.  These dances form part of the great ballets: Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker, Coppelia, Giselle and more.

SPECIAL RECITAL ON COMPLETION OF THE COURSE

Hosts to the CARRENO INTENSIVE are Presidio Performing Arts Foundation. This is the home of Presidio Dance, a fully equipped headquarters with all necessary facilities: sprung floor, mirrors and all conveniences, centered in an historical district with parks and near the Bay.

December 2009 - The Nutcracker - Sarasota Ballet, at Sarasota Opera House 

JUNE 2009 -  IRAN-DAS INC. is incoporated as a charitable cultural organizatiuon, 501 (c) 3. For the preservation, promotion and presentation of Persian Dance Arts. Under the name of  IRAN-DAS Iran Dance Association, all those interested will find a source of historical dance elements at their disposal. Itan-Das will be responsible for the recreation of the National Iranian Folkore Institute's Archives, destroyed during the revolution in 1979.  www.wyvernprojects.org/iran-das

CARMINA BURANA

Directed and choreographed by Robert de Warren, this exciting work plays to packed houses!. A true interpretation of the sensual and profane in the XIII century poems Carl Orff used for inspiration.  Sarasota Ballet appears with the Symphony of Soutwest Florida and the Key Choral- Van Wezel performing Arts Hall - Sarasota -  March24-26, 2006

 March 27, 2006 - Carmina Burana receives standing ovations. Both audience and reviewers agree this is a unique production.

A tribute to WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART on his 250th birthday. De Warren takes three movements from three of his most acknowledged works and evokes episodes from the Austrian genius' life. Dali' Museum slated to open in 2010                                                      

To a commissioned score by Dr. David Goldstein with whom deWarren has collaborated in many successful ballets. Fascinated by the extraordinary talent of Salvador Dali, de Warren contacted Dr. Hank Hine, director of the DALI~ Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida and will now create this extravagant theatrical experience, in multi-media techniques using dance, voice and original scenic elements. The opening performance is slated to coincide with the inauguration of the new DALI Museum, in late 2010.

HELEN OF TROY - The brainchild of BRIAN JOHNSON, Lead Vocalist of the Hard Rock Group  AC/DC  has composed a series of beautiful melodic ballads relating the fate of "the face that launched a thousand ships". Helen, a spartan princess is abducted by the Trojan Paris resulting in a long and bloody siege full of unexpected turns.
