Robert de Warren is one of today's most experienced and successful dance personalities with an unusual international career that has taken him worldwide creating new works, restaging his popular ballets and collaborating with companies and personalities in many fields. He recently retired as the Artistic Director of the Sarasota Ballet of Florida, a post he held for thirteen years.  However his energy and passion for dance have since established successful international, dance programs:

Robert de Warren 

The Royal Ballet at Covent Garden in London, is where he commenced his career, which has encompassed working with such luminaries as: RUDOLF NUREYEV, Dame Margot Fonteyn, Dame Alicia Markova, Sir Frederick Ashton, Sir Kenneth MacMillan, John Cranko, Roland Petit, Agnes deMille, Alvin Ailey, Paul Taylor, Fleming Flindt and many more. He has also been approved by the Balanchine Trust to perform Mr. B's ballets in the companies he directs.

Dancing with the Royal Ballet he learned the entire CLASSICAL REPERTOIRE and as a principal dancer with the Stuttgart Ballet he created several roles for Beriozoff and John Cranko. He was a star of the Frankfurt Ballet and the Ballet in Berlin.

Nureyev recommended him as Director of Ballet at La Scala, Milan, where he remained for seven years.

He has coached dancers from American Ballet Theatre, Boston Ballet , National Ballet of Canada, Royal Danish Ballet and Paris Opera Ballet.

He has served as juror for major international dance competitions: Varna, Osaka, Naples, Rome, Milan, Mantova, Paris and Manchester - He is a member of the Honorary Committee of the Jackson USA Dance competition, a member of the Board of Directors of the Florida Dance Association. He serves on YAGP Youth America Grand Prix as a juror. Member of International dance Council CID at UNESCO, Paris
